About the Role
Our Sr Product Manager for the vLex Core Squad is a pivotal role responsible for safeguarding and advancing vLex Library's foundational technical health, core APIs, and content infrastructure, while enhancing the content experience and delivery for all user segments. This role will drive product strategy for platform modernization, technical debt reduction, and core content user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for vLex Library's core platform, technical health initiatives, and universal content experience.
- Partner closely with Engineering Leads to prioritize and manage technical debt, infrastructure upgrades, and performance optimizations across vLex Library's core codebases and APIs.
- Lead the product strategy for key migrations ensuring seamless transitions and feature parity.
- Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics (e.g., API uptime, search latency, content loading speed) and user engagement with core content features (e.g., browse, content display).
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related legal field. Ideally with close to lawyer experience or significant legal tech exposure.
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in Product Management, with a strong emphasis on platform, core product, or infrastructure products.
- A proven track record of making data-driven product decisions is critical.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, technical architecture, and managing complex technical debt.
- Proficiency with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple teams.
- Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities, especially in a complex, multi-codebase environment.
