About the Role

We are looking for innovative developers, with 3-5 years of experience, to build cutting-edge products that leverage machine learning and large language models. You'll work with Python, AWS, LLMS (GPT, Claude 3, Mixtral, etc) to create robust, scalable solutions that push boundaries. This is a chance to play a key role in developing technology that shapes the future while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on rapid iteration.

Tech Stack: We build our products using Python and Java, enabling robust and performant code leveraging VespaAI's machine learning capabilities. Our tech stack runs on AWS, allowing us to focus on rapid iteration while relying on AWS for security, availability and scalability. vLex also takes advantage of the latest LLM technologies from OpenAI and Anthropic to develop class leading products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and productionise scalable systems using tools like Python, Flask, etc.
• Refine and review requirements from customers into real-world solutions that solve customer problems
• Work closely with business leaders, engineers and content teams to identify and execute high-impact AI products and services
• Implement robust monitoring, testing, auditing and other controls for quality
• Follow model and data governance, ethics and compliance best practices

Qualifications & Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Maths or related technical field
• 3+ years building commercial or research ML applications
• Ability to translate business needs into ML solutions
• Comfortable organising and analysing complex data
• Fluent in Python and familiar with unit testing.
• Familiar with version control (git, graphite)
• Experience using Docker
